New patients

Your first visit

Nothing about it should be a surprise. Here is exactly how it goes.

What happens

We start with a full history, because the useful information is usually in what was happening before the pain started. Then a hands-on examination to work out what is actually driving it rather than where you feel it.

Dr. Palmer then tells you what he found and what he would suggest doing about it. You are not committed to a plan of care before you have heard one.

What to bring

Your insurance card, photo ID, and any imaging or records you already have. If you are here after a car accident or a work injury, bring the claim details as well.

How long it takes

Set aside a little longer than a regular visit for the first one. After that, appointments are short by design, which is why the split morning and evening hours work for people who are fitting this around a job.

An adjustment in progress

Most people wait far too long

A first visit is a history, an examination, and a straight answer about whether we can actually help. That's it.
