Back Pain
The most common reason anyone walks through our door, and the one most people put off longest.
Most lower back pain is not really about the spot that hurts. It is about how the spine is moving, or failing to move, above and below it. Treat only the sore area and it settles for a while, then returns the next time you lift something awkwardly. We look at the whole chain.
A full history and a hands-on examination before anything else. Dr. Palmer explains what he found and what he would do about it, and you decide from there. Nobody is signed up to a plan before they have heard one.
Pain that runs past the knee is usually nerve involvement, and it is the one worth getting looked at sooner rather than later. It rarely resolves on its own and it gets more stubborn the longer it sits.
We'll call you back to find a time.
A first visit is a history, an examination, and a straight answer about whether we can actually help. That's it.
